Cleaning closets
Somewhere between ordering hundreds of buffalo wings, writing scripts, and coordinating t-shirt pick-ups today, I thought, “I should update my blog.” So, now I am.
I watched Father of the Bride two nights ago. Not the second one that is slightly more cheesy but still funny, the original Father of the Bride where Annie looks like she’s 13 but is still getting married. It’s such a good movie, and I love Diane Keaton in it. She has slowly been becoming one of my favorite people for a while, and after I watched that movie it solidified it. Watching the movie made me want to live at my parent’s house until I get married a little bit. There is a scene where Annie cleans out her room and talks about taking her yearbooks, and two a few days ago my dad was talking about how he cleaned out my closet and had collected lots of “cool stuff” in a box. I haven’t looked through it yet, but I am imagining that it contains a ceramic jewelry box, a Sleeping Beauty Album, some posters, photo albums, yearbooks, newspapers from 9/11, my old softball pin book, and about 5000 pictures. I would love to go over there and look through it but life has been so busy lately. Being a fundraising coordinator at the Little Light House in the fall is a hard job to have, and when you try to get ready for a wedding on top of that its even harder. I am so ready for this weekend to be over so I can focus on the awesome little details of our wedding.
Well, its almost time for premarital counseling. I put wordpress on my iphone today so maybe I’ll figure out if it’s easy to use and start posting more random immediate short posts from time to time. We’ll just have to see!
i hope you get time to go over there soon and look through that stuff. father of the bride is a great movie. i’m excited for your wedding. it stinks that you’re so busy with work lately. hopefully tomorrow goes smoothly! i’m glad i got to see you last night at shades of brown. that was really fun!
