My apartment is old
Lately my apartment has been experiencing some AC difficulties, as I’ve noticed many places around Tulsa are experiencing as well. As many of you may already know, Casa Bonita reopened last week. I have to admit that I never actually knew that they closed. In my world, Casa Bonita was not missed. But, as it turns out, it was missed by some people who are very close to me now and who will soon be my family. On Saturday night Brian and I went to the newly opened restaurant with his family to experience the lines, magicians, and the (unexpected) broken AC. It really wasn’t that bad. The worst part was that their taco shells were stale and I got an all taco dinner. Three very stale tacos were served to me, but after some complaining on my behalf by Brian’s parents we were served about a dozen tacos to replace them that were very fresh and, honestly, very tasty. Brian was eager to go see the arcade, and I was happy to enjoy a game much like Ski-Ball and earn about 30 tickets or so. Altogether, it was a very nice evening.
That being said, my AC doesn’t work that well. It will work until about 6 or 7:00 at night, and then it decides to blow out warm air and go up to 85 degrees. It’s very sad. Tonight it was just too much, and as a result I am sitting upstairs at my parent’s house in my old bedroom. I have actually lived in every extra room in this house at one point or another, and this room is the room I spent the least amount of time in, so it doesn’t really feel like my old bedroom, but it still feels nice. So, for now, I’m going to enjoy lying in a bed with cool air surrounding me and try to get some sleep. What does everyone think about that picture of me on the cliff? Does it look like I’m being daring?
you look so ballsy in that picture molly!
Haha, thanks. But you know the truth… I’m really just a scaredy-cat.
sorry about your AC struggles….that must be pretty terrible considering the weather you Tulsans have had lately.
It’s fun that you got to go to Casa Bonita! That place holds some very fond childhood memories for me. I used to LOVE ski-ball. We should have a playoff when I get home.
Weird.. I ate there last year when it was Casa Viva.. I guess that shut down and now its reopen yet again? At least this time it’s back to Casa Bonita. I’m really really hungry for tacos now.
